Edificio is proud to invite you to the closing of the last art exhibit by the Congolese artist Bers Grandsinge : “Chantier Numéro Un”, a tribute to Bibliothèque Solvay.

After living and working in New York in the late 1980’s where he will go alongside artists like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat (Basquiat himself has suggested the nickname “Grandsinge”), Bers will land in Brussels to develop his skills. In early 90’s, he has participated to the renovation work of Bibliothèque Solvay. 3 of the 20 paintings that will be exhibit during the closinghave been made during that specific period. Bers has developed this exhibit as a return to his first love.
