Edificio has a long and fascinating history. Event no. 2000 was a reception organised by VNG, the leader in natural gas, at the prestigious Bibliothèque Solvay. In 1999 Edificio took part in the renaissance of the library which was recently restored by the Brussels Capital Region. In 2007 they refurbished the superb Hotel Wielemans, invested in Sky Hall, in 2009, and then the elegant Concert Noble a year later. This visionary company, which welcomes the largest Euro-conferences, will have played host to 2000 events in just12 years in these gems of Brussels architectural heritage.

Everyone knows about video-conferencing. The problem is the system only allows you to see two faces at a time, even if there are ten people present at the meeting. Hence the attraction of 'TelePresence' with its opportunity to see and hear all the participants, filmed by cameras from top to bottom. It's now possible to experience a meeting in real time, and see everyone and their live reactions from across the world. Take a look at the video...

It was to an exclusive exhibition at the Bibliothèque Solvay that these brilliant engineers invited European Commission officials, members of the European Parliament, key stakeholders, journalists…Beauty, harmony and dreams were on display everywhere.
The idea is simple and generous; you fill a box with non-perishable foods for the poorest people in the community. They are then distributed on New Year's Eve at the Central Station and at the charitable 'restos du coeur' restaurants. There were 243 last year, a record which Edificio wants to beat this time with the help of the Samaritans' Association and YOU.
